About Tom's Cabin

For many years, Tom’s Cabin has always been a dream of mine. I was inspired by my parents who owned and operated the “Gallery” located on the eastern shore, where they sold their artwork.

As a woodworker and a retired Industrial Arts teacher for 32 years, in Carroll County, MD my dream became a reality!

In 2013, I constructed Tom’s Cabin from century old barn-wood and outbuildings that I had collected over the years.
​
In 2018, with the help of my wife, Tom’s Cabin has now grown to offer not only my one-of-a-kind handmade items, but also a variety of gift ideas to meet all your shopping needs. All items that I make are made from repurposed wood and a variety of other materials.

At Tom’s Cabin our mission is to create a “Unique Shopping Experience”.  We supply our customers with the knowledge and history of our products and provide them with the  highest quality at reasonable prices.  We are proud to say that our inventory is 95% USA made!

We feel strongly about saying “Thank You” to all who support our local business by hosting Fall Festival weekends and providing our customers with goodies as they stroll through the different shops.
